After a few hours of being impressed Windows 10 has done something bad; random cursor jumps during typing, often resulting in the accidental highlighting and deletion of massive blocks of text.
A (presumably) unintended feature of Windows Vista that my house mate and I frequently encountered but not something I had experienced since moving to Windows 7, the jumping cursor is pretty bad when writing reports or typing up blog posts though can usually be cured with a simple undo. It can get very bad when it moves over the cross in the top corner and closes the browser with a mouse press meant for somewhere else; though that hasn't happened today as it is random it will at some point and with it a laptop throwing rage.
There are some solutions suggested here though I tried a number of things like this on Vista to no avail so I am doubtful they will make a difference here, it is probably just a bug that will hopefully get ironed out as Microsoft collect user data during these initial few months/years? All I would suggest if you are experiencing similar behavior is to make sure you are watching as you type so that you can press undo before too much is deleted.
